Wednesday, February 28th, 2007 Here is the review for PAN'S LABYRINTH, directed by Guillermo del Toro, who is quickly becoming my favorite director. It is kind of like ALICE IN WONDERLAND mixed with SCHINDLER'S LIST mixed with bloodthirtsy cannibal fairies. How can it not be awesome?-Collin Out. Wednesday, February 14th, 2007 Here is the review for THE MESSENGERS, directed by The Pang Brothers and produced by Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures. With a pedigree like that, it has got to be good, right? RIGHT? The answer is a distinct maybe. Check out the review to see why.-Collin Out. Saturday, January 20th, 2007 Though it is not officially a horror movie, Alfonso Cuaron's CHILDREN OF MEN is definately dark and disturbing enough to earn a place of prominence at our twisted little abode, in the form of a review. Do not miss this movie if you of a dark bend of mind. And if you aren't, what are you doing at this site?-Collin Out. Friday December 15th, 2006 In the spirit of the holiday, and before the remake coming out on Christmas day can screw it up (or maybe not; I haven't seen it yet,but Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Buffy's irritating little sister Dawn is in it, so I don't hold out too much hope), I bring you a review for Bob Clark's OTHER holiday classic BLACK CHRISTMAS. This little yuletide gem will warm the cockles of your heart, even as it tears it out. Enjoy!-Collin Out. Friday, December 8th, 2006 Our first movie review is up with Neil Marshall's THE DESCENT (releasing on DVD the day after Christmas, damn the rat bastards: no DESCENT for me for Christmas...). Enjoy!-Collin Out. |
