Another review is up, this one for EA's new sci-fi/horror franchise DEAD SPACE, for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Once I check out the DEAD SPACE comic and animated prequel I will toss up a review on them as well. Keep your eyes peeled.

Okay, so it has been a while. But the site update is almost done and here is your first piece of fresh content, in the form of a review for SILENT HILL: HOMECOMING for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Expect to see a review for Dead Space soon as well. No, seriously.

Wow, two days in a row! Writing the review for THE DARKNESS really made me want to sing the praises of THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK: ESCAPE FROM BUTCHER BAY, so I fired it up, played it through again, and hammered out a review. Enjoy. I'm also playing through SYSTEM SHOCK 2 on the PC, in preparation for BIOSHOCK. I've never been more excited for a game than BIOSHOCK (other than when a new SILENT HILL game comes out), and my enthusiasm seems to be warranted; the demo is now available on XBox live, and it is absolutely amazing. In addition, the game just got reviewed by Game Informer Magazine, and they've awarded it perfect tens across the board. Download the demo if you have Live, and buy the game as soon as it comes out; it is available August 21st (next week!) for the 360 and the PC. I guarantee you won't be disapointed. You probably won't here from me again about games until I've gotten a chunk of the way into BIOSHOCK, but I'll let you know what I think A.S.A.P.

Holy crap, has it been a long time since I posted a game review! This is ironic, since the site was originally just going to be for games; my love of the rest of the horror fields is mainly a byproduct of my love of horror games. I've been focusing on the other sections because I didn't want the site to be too one sided. Oh well. We will remedy this in the future. Regardless, my review for The Darkness is now up. Rejoice, and look for more in the near future.

Here's one a little more fresh, and a tad saucy. It is called Rule of Rose, and it is for the PS2. The game is incredibly unique being a survival horror game that takes place in a creepy orphanage during the 1930's, where the orphans have taken over and monsters stalk the halls. If you are looking for something different, this game is very, very different. At the very least it is worth a look at the review to see if it is something you might be into, so check it out. You just might be glad you did.

Another game review, this one for Ghosthunter for the PS2 is up. Click on the link above to read about Lazarus, Astral, and a bunch of spectral nasties in one of the unknown and unappreciated gems for the PS2.

First bit of content is up, in the form of review for the video game Silent Hill 4: The Room. Now that I've got the format down, things should start flowing a little more quickly. I'll keep you updated as things drop.
