Here's the review for Max Brook's astounding novel World War Z: AN ORAL HISTORY OF THE ZOMBIE WAR, which is a far, far better book than the title makes it out to be. It isn't the poetry that Cormac McCarthy's THE ROAD is, but is it nearly as good in it's own unique way. Coincidently, both were published in September of last year. Coincident? Almost certainly. But incredible anyway.

The review is up for Brian Keene's newest novel, GHOUL. Though it is probably my least favorite of all of Keene's novels, it is still better than most of the other stuff on the market. Whether you've read his work before or not, it is at least worth checking out.

Here is the review for what may be one of the most dark, disturbing, and important horror novels ever written, Cormac McCarthy's THE ROAD, about a man and his young son alone against a harsh and violently inimical universe at the end of the world. It ranks up there with DRACULA and FRANKENSTEIN as one of the best and most beautiful horror novels ever written. As you may have gathered, it couldn't be more highly recommended.

Far less arbitrarily, here's a review for Stephen King's most recent horror novel, LISEY'S STORY. It's about the widow of America's most popular author, dealing with psychopaths and the supernatural in the wake of his untimely death. I'm sure it has nothing to do with his nearly fatal accident a while back. Regardless, the novel is incredible. So is my review. Or maybe not. Read it anyway, and find out.

Equally arbitrarily, here's a review for Bentley Little's 2004 horror novel THE RESORT, about a family who go to an posh Arizona vacation resort during the off-season, and find that sometimes some package deals end up being more than you bargain for. Like when the unseen hands try to drag your children to the bottom of the pool, or an insane dancing gardener stalks your wife day and night...

Here's the first of our book reviews, starting rather arbitrarily with Jeff Long's horror-mystery-sci-fi-military-love story-epic The Descent.
